If you weren’t at Propaganda because of the fact that it truly is one of the absolute best clubs in South Florida to be at, you were drawn here to see Dharmata kick off their winter tour for the hometown crowd. The bands close to hour set introduced not only new songs from their soon to be released new album Cycles, but also a new drummer and gingerly bearded bassist! Fan favorites “Outside the Lines,” “Strength In Numbers,” and “The Awakening,” as well as the bands big radio single, “Do It Again” saw bodies moving, fists raised, and voices singing along.

A year and a half ago we put out our full-feature with former Floridian’s Elisium and the time finally came for them to bring their heaviness to sunny South Florida. Along with Mogeura and hometown favorites Dharmata, the 3-piece put on a killer set that included cuts from their Becoming ep, as well as a cover of Tool’s “Sober” that brought the house down.  Currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on their upcoming third disc release, the band treated the packed venue to two new cuts, “Murder Banger” and a fun instrumental with a bass hook destined to become iconic, “Mega Man.”

Whether you came to Propaganda for Dharmata, Elisium, or Moguera, one thing is for sure, each bands blistering set left you wanting more, making it imperative that they all hit the venue stage again in the near future.
