Welcome to Rockville 2019 is now officially in the books as one epic outdoor music festival put on DWP! The 3-day music festival which is spread out over 3 stages is one incredible experience. Welcome to Rockville in Jacksonville, Florida, never disappoints with a powerful rock and metal lineup. Part of the World’s Loudest Month, more than 60,000 fans show up for a musical weekend of nonstop rock with over 50 bands on 3 stages. Welcome to Rockville took place at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville FL, May 3rd, 4th, and 5th 2019. Tool, Korn, and Rob Zombie headlined along with other acts like The Struts, Shinedown, Judas Priest, Incubus, Bring Me The Horizon, Papa Roach, Evanescence, The Cult, Chevelle Wilson, Crobot and Flogging Molly among many others that melted faces all weekend long. Sadly there were a few rain game delays but DWP handled them with grace and charm and got the festival back up and running each day. There was a spacious VIP area at 2 stages, many booths to shop, tons of varieties of food to choose from and the longest line as always was at Island Noodles for some yummy fairly priced food. Of course, alcohol was a plenty and entertainment between sets also. The special touch this year was with the Zippos sessions which offered private acoustic sets of bands in an intimate setting. Zippos sessions which were well run featured Badflower and Wilson just to name a few. Monster Energy booth and section had the Monster Energy drinks flowing all day. There were sights and sounds to please every age group. Welcome to Rockville is always a fun time. See you on the flip side folks!
